3 Emails To Have Scheduled For Your Holiday Sales

So you’re wanting to offer a special sale this Holiday season.. But you need people to know about it, right? And this time of year, there are SO many sales going on. People are being pulled in so many different directions by companies all across the world.. So you need people to know about your sale and REMEMBER your sale. So how do you get people to remember that you are having a sale? Emails campaigns.

In this blog post I am going to outline three different emails that you should have scheduled and ready to automatically send out when running a sale. Key words being scheduled and automatically sent. Whenever you are running a sale, you should create these three emails ahead of time and have them scheduled to automatically send out on the specific date and time. So once you write them, you don’t have to worry about them anymore!

Email #1)  A buzz email. A buzz email is an email that lets your audience know you will be running a sale in the next couple of days. You can be as vague or as detailed as you’d like to be in this buzz email, but the point is to send this email out a couple of days BEFORE you start your sale. You want your audience to get excited and feel ready to take advantage of these deals when your sale goes live.

Email #2) An email announcing that the sale is live! You should most definitely send out an email to your audience announcing that your sale is live. You should include details in this email on how they can take advantage of the deals. For example, do they need to use a certain discount code, are the products already marked down, is the discount automatically taken at checkout? How long will this sale last? Make sure you also include photos of what’s on sale inside of this email so you audience can click on the email and go straight to your website to shop!

Email #3) A last chance email. You should send out an email on the last day of your special sale letting your audience know that this is their last chance to take advantage of these huge deals. Include the details that are listed above in this email as well, reminding them of how they can get the deal. Make sure you use verbiage like “limited quantity left” to remind them that inventory is going fast and that this is their last chance to grab these products at such a great price!

Never underestimate the power of emails! Your audience signed up for your list because they want to hear from you! People check emails for deals and sales all the time, so make sure your business is in their inbox!
